What we cut

Bush hogging and land clearing in Manatee County

If a push mower or a landscaping crew has already told you no, this is the machine that finishes it. Rotary cutters behind a tractor, plus zero-turn decks for the finish pass where the ground is clean enough to want one.

Bush hogging

Head-high grass, brush, briar and saplings up to about 2–3″ knocked flat in a single pass. The core of what we do.

Overgrown lot mowing

Vacant residential and commercial parcels cut back for code compliance, listing photos, showings or a closing date.

Land clearing

Palmetto, scrub and light vegetation taken down so surveyors, builders and buyers can actually walk the property.

Fence lines & trails

Fence rows, easements, ditch banks and access trails opened back up on rural acreage east of I-75.

Pasture & acreage

Scheduled maintenance cuts for ranch and large-acreage owners in Parrish, Myakka City and east Manatee.

Storm & season cleanup

Post-storm knockdown and end-of-wet-season catch-up when six months of Florida rain got ahead of the property.

How it goes

Three steps, no runaround

  1. 01

    You send the address

Call or fill out the form. We pull the parcel up on aerial before we ever drive out, so we already know the shape and the access before we talk.

  2. 02

    You get a firm number

A flat price for the job, in writing, usually the same business day. Not an hourly rate that grows while the tractor is on your lot.

  3. 03

    We cut and send photos

Most parcels are done in a day. You get before-and-after photos even if you live three states away and have never stood on the property.

Where we work

Serving Bradenton, Palmetto, Parrish & Ellenton

We’re a Manatee County outfit. That means we know which lots off SR-64 flood in August, which parcels in Parrish are all palmetto root, and how far the tractor can get down a soft access easement before it stops being a good idea.

Bush hogging in Bradenton

Vacant lots, rental properties and back acreage from West Bradenton and Bayshore Gardens through Samoset, Oneco and the SR-64 corridor. Heavy volume of code-enforcement lot clearing and pre-listing cleanup here.

Bush hogging in Palmetto

North of the Manatee River: Palmetto proper, Memphis, Rubonia and Terra Ceia. Older platted lots, small farm parcels and US-41 frontage that grows back fast through the wet season.

Bush hogging in Parrish

Fast-growing Parrish, where new construction sits next to raw pasture. Fence lines, builder lots, large residential acreage and property being prepped ahead of survey or sale off US-301 and Fort Hamer Road.

Bush hogging in Ellenton

Ellenton and the I-75 / US-301 interchange area. Commercial parcels, storage and outparcel lots, plus residential acreage running back toward the river.

Also cutting in Myakka City, Lakewood Ranch, Bayshore Gardens, Memphis, Rubonia, Terra Ceia, Oneco, Samoset and Sarasota County line properties. Not sure if you’re in range? Send the address.

On the trailer

Real iron, maintained in-house

We own our equipment and we wrench on it ourselves, which is why a rain delay doesn’t turn into a two-week delay waiting on somebody else’s rental return. Tractors for the heavy knockdown, zero-turns for the clean finish pass.

Straight answers

Questions we get every week

How much does bush hogging cost per acre in Bradenton?

It depends on four things: how tall the growth is, how much sapling and palmetto is mixed into it, how wet the ground is, and how hard it is to get a tractor onto the parcel. Small residential lots get a flat job price. Open acreage is priced per acre, and the per-acre rate drops as the acreage goes up. Either way you get a firm number before we start — not an hourly meter.

How fast can you get out here?

Quote requests get answered the same business day. Most Manatee County jobs land on the schedule inside the same week. If you’re working against a code enforcement deadline or a closing date, say so in the form — those move to the front.

How tall and how thick can you actually cut?

Grass and brush up to head height, and saplings up to roughly two to three inches at the base. Beyond that — mature trees, stumps, palmetto root mat that has to come out rather than be cut down — you need a different machine, and we’ll tell you that up front instead of beating up equipment on your property and handing you a bill.

Do I have to be there?

No. A lot of our customers are out-of-state owners, investors and realtors who’ve never set foot on the parcel. We work off the parcel ID and boundaries, cut it, and send photos when it’s finished.

I got a Manatee County overgrown-lot notice. Can you help?

Yes — that’s one of the most common calls we take in Bradenton and Palmetto. Attach or mention the compliance date in your request and we’ll schedule to beat it.

What do you do with the cuttings?

A rotary cutter mulches material back onto the ground, so standard bush hogging leaves the cuttings in place. If you need debris hauled off, or the lot cut low enough for a survey crew, tell us and we’ll price that in.

Send us the address. We’ll send you a price.
